Size & Color

The NEW Imagine Wool Longies double as diaper covers and pants - available in 5 beautiful colors and 3 adorable prints! They are made of of super-soft 100% knit wool. They are stretchy, breathable, absorbent, and naturally anti-microbial. For a snug, comfortable fit, there is extra stretch in the legs and waist and moves with your baby.

Printed wool longies have 2 layers of knit, soft wool throughout. Solid longies have 2 layers of knit wool in the wet zone and a single layer in the legs.

Use Imagine Wool Longies with your favorite fitted diaper, prefolds, or flats for babies from newborns to toddlers. These are a great nighttime cover because wool is breathable and absorbent, allowing natural air flow to keep you baby cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Wool is naturally antimicrobial, and when lanolized self-cleaning, so they don't need to be washed as often as other covers. Usually Imagine Wool Longies only need to be washed every 2 weeks, unless soiled.

Natural dyes may run on first wash, hand wash separate and lanolize before use.

Cute but I don't like the fit
These are adorable and soft. On the downside the fit is a little off for us. We use fitted diapers under it and the back hangs out even though we sized up. They are very snug around waist and bottom. The rise is too short. The legs have to be cuffed since I sized up. My LO is not chunky at all. He's slimmed down a lot and they still do not fit his bottom. We will just wear as cute pants over a very trim cloth diaper. Will not buy another pair until the rise is legnthened.

Odd sizing for babies
First, the good: -The merino is soft, lightweight and dense for non-interlock. -I have the green, and it's a really pretty vibrant color. The problematic: -For an infant, the shape of these doesn't make much sense. The legs of the Small are 4" past my (10.5lb, ~22") newborn's feet, but the elastic waistband is too tight. It might match the proportions of an active older toddler, but in this size it should be accommodating the shorter, rounder shape of a young baby. -The rise is sufficient to get over a trim diaper (I'm using fastened flats), but only just. -What makes these longies rather than just wool pants is the double-thickness area over the hips; the legs are single thickness, which is fairly lightweight and not enough to serve as a diaper cover. That would be fine, except that the double thickness doesn't extend all the way through the crotch - a good portion of the wet zone and around the legs is single-layered. That pretty much kills its effectiveness as a diaper cover. I often use wool pants over a wool cover at night, because the pants won't wick moisture from the cover or interfere with its breathability, but given how tight and low rise these are, you can't fit a soaker underneath. I believe Imagine could make a good pair of longies - the materials used for these are very nice, and I have generally liked their products - but I'm not surprised they're retiring these, they're in definite need of a redesign.

These are awesome for the price. I have a pair of sloomb basewoolies and the fit around the waist and rise are pretty much the same.... The imagine longies seem to stretch more. The large imagine longies are almost a cuff longer than 18-24 basewoolies so they'll definitely fit in length longer than the sloomb. These are actually easier to get over fitteds and prefolds too. They are buttery smooth. My daughter is 14 months, 23-26 pounds and the height of my 2 year old. These even fit my 3 year old. I do just cuff them up on my baby. Worth the price! I'll be buying more!
