On a visit to Wisconsin, I decided to look online for some double-headed nappy pins. The best buy was with Nicki's, which turned out to be not very far from where I was staying, so they arrived very quickly. I had originally bought this type of pin for my babies at a Mexico City department store 40 years ago. Never a sprung pin or a prick! I soon discovered that they were great for holding your skirt together if the zipper broke, or putting pairs of socks together for the washer. But then they stopped importing them, so I was really glad to find some again: far superior to the plastic kind. My only disappointment was that the shape was straight instead of rocker-shape, and perhaps the point not quite as sharp as the single pin I have been able to hold on to. But in any case, I'm glad I bought 20 of them. No regrets.
