NOTICE: The manufacturer of bumGenius/Cotton Babies has revised their guidelines to prohibit the sale of all bumGenius/Cotton Babies products outside of the USA. If you need help finding a retailer in your country please let us know!

The bumGenius! Littles 2.0 - Newborn All-In-One Cloth Diaper has been redesigned to fit even better. It fits babies 6-12 pounds and the front of the diaper dips down to fit below the navel and keep the umbilical area dry.

The Littles 2.0 has a durable plastic snap closure, waterproof outer fabric and is lined with organic cotton that is soft and absorbent. A reversible doubler is included for extra absorbency when needed. One side of the doubler has stay-dry fabric and the other side has organic cotton fabric.

To hold in messes without leaving red marks, a gentle elastic in rolled out casings is used around the legs and back waist.

Leaked a lot
Pros: -Very easy to put on- as easy as disposables -Adorable and much nicer to see poking out of clothing than disposables -Not bulky at all- snugger fit than disposables -Held poop in very well- not one blow out with them -Fit well around legs -Great for staying under umbilical stump -Doubler is easier to use than a pocket insert and is very soft -Looked brand new on outside after weeks of use -Dryer seemed to have no negative effect on elastic after weeks of use Cons: -Did not contain pee well at all- clothes would often get wet with pee even if we had just changed the diaper an hour ago. Pee seemed to slip out everywhere, both from the leg holes and from the top on the front and back. -Could only wear them several weeks before outgrowing, though outgrew absorbency much sooner (even tried folding insert in half and placing where absorbency was most needed but this did not work) -Even with spraying them right away with a diaper sprayer they stained fairly easily -Took 3 dryer cycles to completely dry (the inserts dry faster) -Took several hours to dry outside even in the sun For reference: we started using these when baby was one week old and 6.5 pounds and she was already on the second snap. We stopped using them at 8 weeks old and 10.5 pounds and she had just reached the last snap. We could have kept using them a few more weeks but at her 2 month well visit her pediatrician said they were too short on her since they sat on her hips rather than above them which restricts hip movement. To us it seemed like she was moving her legs a ton so we never would have thought that but it’s something to keep in mind (at this point our baby was right at 50% on the height chart). So even though she still fit in them according to weight and snap size they were no longer appropriate for her. Ultimately I wanted to love these diapers and I’m not sorry that we used them because I do hate the idea of going through hundreds of disposables, but I wouldn’t buy them again. They shouldn’t have leaked as often as they did and we should have been able to use them until she was 12 pounds (as per the product description) without them restricting her hip movement.

The New Version is a Good Improvement!
I tried the 1.0 version on another baby and wasn't happy with the absorbency. The new 2.0 is definitely an improvement, although dry time is longer. My baby was 9 pounds at birth and my SIL's baby was 10 pounds a birth. Both were able to wear this diaper until 3-4 weeks, but need a small booster at that point. So for an average or small newborn, it should work great as is. I love the way this diaper fits, how trim it is and that the price is now lower. Plus, it's made in America! And you get the softness of organic cotton. bumGenius also has a great warranty and service. I will definitely buy a few more if we have another baby.
