Nicki recommends at least 3 snap-in inserts for each shell. Because the covers can be wiped clean and reused, you won't need as many - that saves you money! Need more inserts? Click Here to Purchase them!

Best Bottoms Diapers are All In Two diapers developed by Nicki, the owner of Nicki's Diapers! The Best Bottom Diaper has all the pros of the different diapering systems and has eliminated the cons. So Best Bottoms Diapers are very trim fitting, extremely absorbent and one of the most economical diapering systems available! The snap-in inserts eliminate the need for stuffing but still give a fast drying time. The inserts are available in 3 different sizes and several different materials, so you will be able to use the one that is just right for your baby. This makes Best Bottoms super trim!
Best Bottom Diaper
Pocket Diaper
Fast Drying
Have to Stuff
All In One Diaper
Easy to Use/Trim
Longer Drying Time
Fitted Diaper
Very Absorbent
Bulky & Have to Fold

You will be surprised by how easy Best Bottom Diapers are to use!! First adjust the front snaps for the rise to get the right size for your baby. (You do not need to unsnap the rise snaps when washing. Just adjust them once and you are good to go until your baby grows!) Then snap in the insert, put the diaper on your baby and go! When you need to change your baby, just snap out the soiled insert and snap in a clean one. Because the inside of the Best Bottom shell is wipe-able, it can be used over and over before washing. You may want to air-dry between uses but that may not always be necessary. Because you can reuse the Best Bottom shell, you won't need to buy as many. With pocket diapers, all in one diapers and fitted diapers, you will need to change the whole diaper every time! When it is time to wash your Best Bottom Diapers, you will only be washing inserts and a few shells - this takes up much less space!

Therefore, you will save money by using Best Bottom Diapers! If you buy 8 shells/$16.95 each & 24 inserts in 3 sizes/$3.95 each, it will cost you $436 to diaper your baby from birth through potty training! That is so much cheaper than disposables and also cheaper than other cloth diaper systems! You can have convenience, reliability and save money too!

The Best Bottom shell fits from birth to 35+ pounds. There are leg gussets to help keep the messes in, an adjustable rise with four settings, and overlapping closure in both snap and hook & loop. When putting the diaper on your baby, check to be sure the insert is completely in the shell - just pull the leg gussets out around your baby's legs. Best Bottom also has Extender Tabs available in both snap and hook & loop. Extender Tabs allows you to save even more money by extending the size limit of the Best Bottom Shell. They are sold in pairs and coordinating Best Bottom colors (see below).

You will probably need 8-10 Best Bottom shells and 18-24 inserts per size. Why sized inserts? Newborns and toddlers certainly are not the same size so any insert that fits both will be bulky and ill-fitting on a newborn and may not be adequate for a toddler. By having 3 sizes to choose from, you will have a diaper that fits well and is very absorbent at every age! You may not need all 3 sizes of inserts - all babies are different.

After nearly four years of using BBs I'm finally getting around to writing a review. This is the sturdiest PUL you'll find on ANY diaper shell, ever. Most people love snaps claiming they last longer,(and these have great snaps) but the velcro on these bad boys is like, one of those giant magnets you see in cartoons. It STICKS. It can be washed and bullied and it will still stay put. I used just a few from almost birth to Potty learning and they lasted. I used these in the pool and the ocean, they have probably been bleached, stripped, and dried to oblivion in a dryer. I don't "baby" diapers and these can take it. I like the inserts, but these will easily hold a prefold inside as well. The inserts are the best thing for traveling or if you want a trimmer look. I'm about to finally order a new batch of these for baby #3, but I *could* get some more use out of the ones I have. These are seriously the BEST, most versatile, longest lasting AI2s in the market. You won't regret this purchase.

I don't think it could get any easier than this!
I'm a first time mom, and my husband and I decided to give cloth diapering a try. At the recommendation of a friend, I decided to try these. I'm glad I did because they are so easy to use. I love being able to reuse the cover until it's soiled or wash day. It's so easy to just snap the insert in and either snap the diaper close or if it's the hook and loop closure, just close it like a disposable diaper. I would say that I equally love the snaps and hook and loop, but it is easier to close the hook and loop in the middle of the night with very minimal lighting!

Saved my son's red bottom
I have been having sooooo many issues with my son being so red. After a certain point, I couldn't even use my beloved prefolds because of the moisture. I was losing hope. So I researched again. (Deep down I said I knew I should've bought those best bottom diapers with my daughter) So I decided on these diapers with the stay dri inserts and oh my! When I put him in these(I also used these as an overnight diaper) he lost the redness! Thank God for these because my pediatrician was starting to worry(and of course I was too). These are awesome! I plan to buy another package soon!

Adding to our collection
We tried several types of cloth diapers and decided to exclusively use Best Bottoms with our older son until he potty trained right around his second birthday. Now that we have another little one, we plan to use the same diapers again as they are still in perfect condition. We decided to add three new diapers to our collection just because they are so adorable. I can't say enough good things about these diapers.

Awesome diapers
These were the first cloth diapers we've tried and they're the ones we'll continue using. Being new to cloth diapers there is a ton of information and options out there. They are very absorbent and soft. We've been using them for 2 or 3 weeks now and we'll definitely be sticking with them. It was an easy switch from disposables once we got the hang of it. I'm glad we started using these. I'd definitely recommend.
