I bought six of these hoping to reduce drying time and static. I can't say they helped with either. They actually made more work for me because the static just got worse, the little hairs shed and stuck to the inside of my Bum Genius diapers so badly that I had to use a sticky tape roll to remove it. After hours of having to remove the shedding, I gave up on these. I bought ecosheets instead from the drugstore website and those work great!

I love these wool balls. Best purchase. And my son loves to play with it when it is not in use

Up until I had my son I had been using dryer sheets and was a little skeptical that these would work, but they do! I have four and they work great , they reduce drying time, and as long as you dont really over dry there is no static! Love these!

I bought three of these dryer balls, and I am loving them! They truly work as a softener and help get things evenly dried. So nice to have a more natural fabric softener option. Haven't cut down considerably on drying time, but maybe I'll throw a few more in!

dryer balls do make a difference
One of the key takeaway things that I've learned from cloth diapering is doing laundry in a better way - dryer balls do make a difference. I haven't tried other brands to compare but these are holding up very well after six months. You do need about 3-4 and I use these for non-cloth diaper laundry as well. Also, suggest throwing in 1 or 2 dry towels to speed up the drying process.
