I tried out a *bunch* of popular brands with newborn/small diapers when my son was born. Thirsties pocket diapers were my favorite, so I bought our big supply of one-sized ones to use for a couple years. After a month, I couldn't be happier with them - the leg gussets have kept us blowout-free, the aplix is easy enough his daycare will use them, and they're *much* easier to clean than other brands since the inserts remove themselves. Also, with 2 openings these are easier to stuff. We started using these one-sized ones when my son was two and a half months, just shy of 12 pounds, and well into regular size-1 disposables. They looked a little big on the smallest setting, but we did not have to cross the velcro strips in the front so they might have fit him sooner. We have an HE top-loading washer that we cannot adjust the water levels on, so found when washing every 2 days we have to wash them for 2 full washes, not a prewash and full wash. The pocket-covers air dry in 5-6 hours.

Love this diaper
I am very happy with this diaper. It fits great and is very trim. The prints are cute, I just wish they had a few more prints available.

I love the double pocket opening - back and front and the thigh elastic that keeps the wetness seales. However, the waist measurement seems a bit small. My baby is only 5.5 kg and she already use the 2nd farthest snap. Not sure if it holds up until she's 10 kg or so

The diaper never leaked but I didn't like that the inner elasticis rolled up on each other, the diaper would not lay flat. The outer and inner material were very high quality and I like that it was made in the USA.
