The Flat Diaper is the original diaper. It is made from 100% cotton birdseye and is extremely versatile. Flats are one thickness, so they wash clean and dry fast.

The Swaddlebees Flat Diapers measure 31.5" x 31.5" and will shrink approximately 10% after washing (28.5" x 28.5"). The prints will also fade a bit after the first washing. They weigh 3.2 oz each.

Each package of Swaddlebees Flat Diapers has 6 diapers. This one size diaper can be folded to fit any baby from birth through potty training. You will also be able to fold it so the most absorbent, thick part is in the area your baby needs it most.

There are many different ways to fold a Flat Diaper. 2 methods that work well are:

Origami Fold: neat, trim coverage; bulk of the diaper is in the "wet zone"

Kite Fold:  great for babies from about 6 months and older

Washing Instructions: 

• Wash before use. Diapers will shrink but get thicker with the first few washes.
• Wash in warm or hot water. Be sure diapers rinse clean.
• Tumble or line dry.
• Do not use fabric softener.
• Do not use bleach.
• Do not use diaper rash creams (unless specifically recommended for cloth diapers) as they leave a residue that makes the diaper water repellent - causing leaks.
• Easiest way to remove stains is to lay them in the sun.
