There is nothing super special about these diaper covers. They are economical and utilitarian, but they work well. My kids are very thin, and I found the sizing guide to be off for us. I bought a small and a large. The large was always too big for my 28 lb toddler, and my baby didn't fit well in the small until she was 14 lbs - still fits at 18 lbs. Found it is better to wash these velcroed inside out especially with newborn poop.

These are superb covers...
They are a very basic design but if you're looking for a cover that you can count on not leaking, fitting well, never having the elastic or aplix wear out, this is your cover. They keep working and functioning wash after wash and even child after child. I highly recommend these covers. The newborn size fits so nicely under the umbilical cord.

Wish I liked them more
I bought these in size small when they were on sale, and I wanted to like them, but they're always the last covers I grab. They don't fit my son nearly well Thirsties. They also lack some of the nicer features of a more expensive cover -- no laundry tabs (easy to work around) and no hook & loop on the outside of the side tabs for overlapping when fastening. I suspect they would fit a baby with chunkier thighs a lot better.

Proraps rock!
I LOVE this cover. Have 2 in newborn size, and I wish I would've bought nothing but these for DD. The rise is perfect, and the hook/loop closure makes for a perfectly snug fit. Babe has had some very big messes in these covers, and they always contain them. Super easy for middle of the night changes. We use these with Imagine bamboo prefolds. Wonderful!
