Now the waterproof polyester on these does make the item sound like a diaper to the child and as my toddler is seeking independence from the daytime diaper these are not as easily accepted as say the iplay or under the nile training pants which feel like panties. These also "puff" when worn. The terry lining is soft and we still use these as back ups when going out or during naps. I have noticed they are not as easy to pull up as they are pushed down.
