Little Beetle Organic Merino Wool Soaker Shorts are made of soft organic merino wool jersey.  They have 2 layers in a fuller cut shorts design.  Wool is a natural, breathable fabric that works great in a nighttime cover.  The Little Beetle Wool Soaker Shorts fit over prefolds or other cloth diapers.  Available in Natural or hand dyed colors.  The hand-dyed covers have the outer layer hand-dyed in Elemental Blue, Willow Green and Sunny Orange.

It is easy to care for your Little Beetle Organic Merino Wool Soaker Shorts.  Wool covers are fantastic with their breathability, antibacterial properties and natural ability to hold liquid.  They are self-cleaning (as the urine reacts with the lanolin to form a soap) for a week or two at which point they need to be gently hand washed and/or re-lanolized.  To hand wash your wool covers, use lukewarm water with a wool safe wash.  If the wash contains lanolin, let soak for 15 minutes.  Lay flat to dry (after rolling in a towel and gently squeezing to remove excess water).  Wool should be lanolized when you start to notice wicking.

Please note that Little Beetle hand dyes their fabric in small batches. This results in unique colors that may be a shade or two different from from a product you received previously. For example, blues may vary from light sky blue to darker indigo and anything in between. When you order, the color you order may be somewhat different from the pictures!
