My son was born almost 8 lbs and these diapers were great. I used them at night with a wool cover. The umbilical snap down was perfect. I also loved the Imagine aio with the snap down!

An Average Diaper
The quality of these isn't that great (mine came slightly frayed...brand new) and they aren't that soft to the touch, but they get the job done. They run slightly smaller than the Kissaluvs size 0 so if you have a tiny baby these would probably be good.

Absorbent, but low rise
We bought four of these to use during those first few months. They are very absorbent, but have a pretty low rise. Make sure you tuck boy parts down when using these;) Despite the low rise, we were able to use these until our baby was four months old...he's a skinny boy!

Not for us
I had several of these fitteds and by the time I got the diaper on and the cover over it, by baby was nothing but diaper! She just seemed uncomfortable in this bulky diaper and I think I used it twice before giving up on it.

I only have one of these, in the marigold hook and loop. I love fitteds for overnight - so much easier than trying to fight prefolds in the middle of the night. My only complaints are the marigold is more greenish than yellow to me, and I really wish the hook and loop also had a snap down for the umbilical cord. If I ordered more, I would order the snaps.
