These are exactly what I need for our newborn. The inserts work well with Thirsties (XS size) and Bummis Super Whisper (NB size) covers.
The stay-dry side does its job well and baby hardly fusses when he soils himself. If we weren't so obsessive about checking his diaper, we'd probably never know he needs changing.
I plan to continue to use them later as a doubler as baby grows.
