Flips worked nicely for my son when my other diapers were too big. Now, nearly 2 months later, I'm considering buying more because they work so well. They have not leaked. I like that the covers are reusable unless soiled.

Skip the Flip Inserts
I like my Flip covers but hate the inserts. I hate that the Flip insert just lays inside the diaper cover. I love my Best Bottoms because the inserts snap into the covers. With the Flip diaper cover, the insert sits under two flaps, one at the back of the cover and one at the front. The Flip insert often wiggles out of place.

These inserts are nice and trim. I also love that they have the lines to show you where to fold for whatever rise you are on. It makes for easy stuffing and not having to refold when you realize that the insert is a tad bit long.

love the diapers not the inserts as much
flip is my favorite brand of diaper cover right now. I love the way it fits my little one. however, I do not like the inserts as much, they take a VERY long time to dry, and they are almost impossible to rinse breastfed poop out, and they stain very easily. on the plus side if staining doesn't matter to you they are GREAT absorbers :)

No leaks since I switched to these. I was previously using NB size covers (Thirsties, Bummis) with the NB Flip stay-dry inserts--which were fine until breastfeeding was established and baby was eating more (hence peeing more) then I started getting leaks--then I switched at 6 weeks/9 lbs. These Flips SEEM bulky at the smallest setting, but baby doesn't seem to mind.
