These inexpensive covers, paired with a fitted diaper like a Kissaluv 0, work great for the newborn stage. They compress so well that they add virtually no extra bulk to the diaper. Also, they tuck under the top of the diaper so that they completely protect the umbilical stump from wetness unlike other velcro or snap covers.

Good for the money
These covers are good for the money, but still not my favorite. They have a urine smell after changing so I haven't been able to reuse them. They're a good, cheap cover to use around the house.

Perfect solution.
This is the convenient potty training accessory when using cloth pants. Worked great for our son!

Great Cheap Diaper Covers
These covers aren't fancy or cute at all but they definitely do the job. Nothing gets past these covers. They smash down to next to nothing under clothes. I use these at night with fitteds and they work great. These with a flatfold in the day and you can't tell my son is wearing cloth because it is so trim. For the price of these you can't go wrong. Just be aware that the rise is a little short so you may have to size up early for a taller child.
