Simple, effective, & trim
In my first attempts using the newborn super lite cover, I found it was hard to fit over a GMD cloth-eez newborn fitted diaper. (But that may have been user error - it’s my first time cloth diapering my first baby). Then, I started laying trifolded prefolds (Imagine bamboo newborns) inside and really like how simple and effective this method has turned out to be. My baby outgrew the newborn cover after a month or so, but I expected as much. Now I use the small cover with a trifolded prefold. I still like to use newborn prefolds - I think they fit better lengthwise. Not bulky and no leaks. Plus, they haven't left pronounced red marks like the Thirsties (duo size one and extra small) covers I have. Other covers in my stash include Blueberry, Best Bottom, Flip, Grovia, and Bummis Super Whisper Wrap. Bummis doesn’t have the assortment of cool colors or prints like others, but ease of use, performance, and fit made them part of my “top tier” cover collection.
