Works with diaper service inserts, but needs elastic on the legs
I purchased the XL. My toddler has become too long for the diaper wraps and the XL is just right. My toddler is 90% successful with urine, but still learning BM control. He is determined to be a "big boy" like his friends, so these make it easier on mom and keep him happy. We use the diaper service small diaper inserts--they snap right in. We use a medium at night--they don't snap in, but lie in pretty well and stay put. The only negative is that the legs gap and a large pee can wick out. Elastic to snug up the legs would be great. The next time design is considered, my boy has requested robots and monkeys for decoration.

Brilliant! I love these!!
I just purchased the large training pants for my 2-1/2 year old almost 40lb son. They are wonderful. Because he hasn't actually started to use the potty yet, I am putting the Best Bottom diaper inserts into them (instead of the training pants inserts). They are super absorbent!!! They are as effective as the disposable diapers I had been using. These training pants fit and work great, and the covers really do prevent leaks and are completely reusable even after a large pee. These are great!!

Wanted to like these more
I absolutely love the best bottom diapers, and I thought these trainers were another great concept. However, I have to agree with other reviewers that these run really small. My son who just grew into 3T clothing fits perfectly in the size large/4T, so I'm not sure how long this system will fit. I also agree that it tends to leak onto the outer cotton with my boy, but maybe wouldn't with a girl.

I think these would have been good if they had larger sizes I bought a large for a 35lbs toddler average sized with the liner snapped in they where way to short in the rise and tight in the legs never got to actually use it. good idea wrong sizing.

Sized small, not for nights
I bought these for my son to use for night training. I bought the overnight inserts to go under the FeelWet inserts, and realized that I should have bought the large size trainer - once I got anything more than the FeelWet in, it was too small.
I think these are fine for petite toddlers, or those who are nearly trained and need very little absorption.
